• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
• Payment Information: When you purchase a monthly or yearly Unlimited subscription, payment information is processed by Stripe, Apple, or Google Play and managed through Stripe or RevenueCat. We do not store your full payment card details.

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our services
• To personalize your learning experience
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To improve our app based on usage patterns
• To communicate with you about updates, offers, and support
• To detect and prevent fraudulent activity

To keep Writing scores consistent, a small number of essays submitted to Perfect Prep AI are kept as reference examples. Each is stored without your name or account details, with any signature removed, and is shown to our AI scoring service alongside other students' essays so it can compare them. Reference essays are never shown to other students.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your data is stored on secure servers and we retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

We may share your information with:

• Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us provide and improve our services (e.g., payment processors, cloud service providers).
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Key third-party services we use include:

• RevenueCat for subscription status, entitlement, and purchase management
• Apple App Store and Google Play for app distribution, in-app purchases, subscription billing, cancellations, and refunds
• Analytics providers to understand app usage

When you ask ChatGPT to score an IELTS Writing response with the Perfect Prep AI plugin, ChatGPT sends us the task prompt and your written response. ChatGPT also sends an anonymous identifier, which we use only to apply daily usage limits. We do not receive your name, email address or ChatGPT account details.

• We use the task and response only to mark it, using the same AI evaluation, including our AI service providers, as essays written in our app. They are not used to train AI models.
• Your scores are returned to ChatGPT with a private link to the full report. The link contains a random code, never your essay.
• If you open the link and sign in or create an account, the essay is saved to your account and kept like any other submission until you delete it or your account.
• Essays that are never saved to an account are deleted automatically after 30 days.

Band scores are estimates and are not official IELTS results. Perfect Prep AI is not affiliated with or endorsed by IELTS. ChatGPT is provided by OpenAI under OpenAI's own privacy policy.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Accessing your personal information
• Correcting inaccurate information
• Deleting your information
• Restricting or objecting to processing
• Data portability

Our services are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
